THE GIFT OF THE MAGI (Reflection)

"The Gift of the Magi" teached me the meaning of true love; Della and Jim love each other more than they love themselves, for they are willing to sacrifice the things of which they are valued the most. The hair of Dallia and the watch of Jim, in order to buy something which they hope will please each other on the Christmas day.

The story teached me the true love; it is not about the material things that we can give to our love ones, but instead, it is about our love that we can give to them, because love cannot be placed with other things, and  it cannot be bought. That is why, Love is the greatest gift that we can give.

I like the story and how the characters show their love with each other and on how they wanted each other to be happy and pleased with their simple gifts.

I have a lot of learnings in the story, and i want to see myself like them; a loving person.
