The story "The Visitation of the gods" by Gilda Cordero-Fernando shows how unequal and unfair life is. Even there are people who act in a right way, still there are people who will block their way. It is the life of the public schools that I experienced once before. Preparing our rooms and some foods for the visitors from the DepEd. It is the life of our beloved teachers who sometimes do not receive equal treatment from other teachers. I realized that being a teacher is not really an easy task to do, teaching the students and understand what the attitude of their co-teacher is. The story shows how difficult in sustaining one's interest in improving the standards of education in the country specially in the public schools.
